Abraham Joseph served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and a member of the senior management team at Bajaj Auto until March 31, 2024, before transitioning to a new role. Meanwhile, Ramtilak Ananthan, who previously oversaw testing and validation in the R&D division of Bajaj Auto Limited, has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer.
Effective April 1, 2024, Ramtilak Ananthan will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer at Bajaj Auto, a leading manufacturer of two- and three-wheelers. In addition to this appointment, Abraham Joseph will take on the position of Managing Director at Chetak Technology Limited, a fully owned subsidiary specializing in innovative mobility solutions.
Prior to his appointment as CTO, Ramtilak Ananthan demonstrated leadership in testing and validation within the R&D division of Bajaj Auto Limited, as per the company’s stock exchange filings.
Bajaj Auto has also announced additional investments in BACL, a wholly owned subsidiary. The company stated, “Additional investment in the equity share capital of BACL of INR 2,250 crore in a phased manner, in addition to the existing INR 600 crore approved earlier.”
