An 11-Year Journey with Mondelēz International
Hangal has been associated with Mondelēz International for over 11 years, taking on diverse leadership roles across digital, category, and omnichannel functions. Most recently, she served as Director – Omnichannel, where she led the organised trade vertical, managing modern trade, e-commerce, quick commerce, e-grocery, and marketplace platforms.
Prior to that, she worked as India Consumer Digital Leader at Mondelēz, spearheading the company’s digital transformation journey. Her contributions included developing the first-party data strategy, enhancing owned media platforms, and strengthening the organisation’s marketing technology capabilities to drive consumer engagement.
Rich Experience Across Leading FMCG Brands
Before joining Mondelēz, Hangal held key roles at Britannia Industries, where she managed the Milk Bikis brand and drove growth across emerging channels. Earlier in her career, she worked in brand management with Novartis Consumer Health and The Coca-Cola Company.
She began her professional journey as a software engineer at Infosys Technologies, bringing a unique blend of technology, marketing, and consumer insight to her leadership approach.
