Mastercard Appoints Jill Kramer as New Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Effective December 2025

Global payments leader Mastercard has announced the appointment of Jill Kramer as its new Chief Marketing and Communications Officer (CMCO), effective December 1, 2025. Kramer succeeds Raja Rajamannar, who will transition into a senior fellow role after a transformative tenure leading Mastercard’s global marketing and brand initiatives.

Michael Miebach, CEO of Mastercard, praised Rajamannar’s exceptional contributions, saying, “Raja’s impact on Mastercard and the marketing industry has been nothing short of transformative. Jill Kramer’s Leadership Journey

Before joining Mastercard, Jill Kramer served as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Accenture, where she led a global, technology-driven marketing function that strengthened brand relevance, market differentiation, and business growth. Under her leadership, Accenture nearly doubled its brand value, from $12 billion to $20.9 billion, according to Interbrand’s Best Global Brands ranking.

Earlier in her career, Kramer held senior leadership positions at renowned agencies BBDO and DDB, where she developed award-winning business-to-business marketing and digital communication strategies for leading brands such as AT&T and ExxonMobil.

Recognized among Forbes’ Most Influential CMOs for three consecutive years, Jill also serves on the Board of Directors of the Ad Council. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
