Wendy’s India Celebrates 5 Years with Bold Campaign Featuring Rave Party Bus, Roast Battles & Creator Collabs

Wendy

Wendy’s India is turning five, and the quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand is going all out to mark the milestone. With a presence of over 200 outlets across the country, Wendy’s is celebrating its fifth anniversary with an unconventional, high-energy campaign that fuses food, fun, and culture in unexpected ways. Titled “Wendy’s India Turns 5,” the campaign is a month-long festival of in-store events, online chaos, and street-level excitement.

India’s First QSR Rave Party Bus & More

The highlight of the campaign is India’s first Rave Party Bus — set to take over Mumbai on August 8. With Wendy herself riding shotgun, the party bus promises an immersive experience complete with neon lights, live DJ sets, unlimited food, and a brand personality that’s as bold as ever. True to its character, the brand continues to prove that the party doesn’t come to Wendy’s — Wendy’s is the party.

Comedy Meets QSR: The Roast in Bangalore

On August 14, Bangalore will host India’s first in-store roast battle inside a QSR outlet. Popular comedian and reality show sensation Banti Banerjee is set to headline the evening with unscripted, fiery punchlines aimed at brands, burgers, and bold customers alike. The event will be hosted at a Wendy’s location and promises real-time audience interaction and unfiltered comedy. Tickets will be available soon on BookMyShow.

Influencer Collabs & Viral Content Drops

The brand’s 5-year celebration also includes a suite of digital-first activations:

  • Darshan Magdum releases a parody anthem that’s catchy and comically criminal.

  • Lakshita & Gurpreet dive into a GTA-inspired Wendy’s heist mission.

  • AI creators Manki x Dogesh Bhai get lost in a ketchup-soaked existential crisis.

  • Meme artist Chordinary turns birthday blues into a surprisingly touching tribute song.

The Burger Cake & Behind-the-Scenes Mockumentary

Among the campaign’s standout elements is a hyperrealistic burger-shaped birthday cake, crafted to resemble a full Wendy’s meal — bound to confuse your tastebuds and your eyes. Additionally, a no-holds-barred mockumentary titled “Behind the Pigtails” offers a look at Wendy’s transformation from a fast-food mascot to a cultural icon leading a 200-store movement.

Four-City Wendy Raves Powered by Coke and Veeba

Food and music come together in Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, and Bangalore from August 22–24, as Wendy’s India hosts four massive burger raves powered by beverage partner Coca-Cola and gifting partner Veeba. These exclusive DJ nights will feature signature Wendy’s dishes, immersive lighting, and energetic playlists that make the menu feel like the main act. Tickets will also be available via BookMyShow.

Social Media Chaos with Instagram Takeover

Throughout the month, Wendy’s India’s social media will be transformed with savage roasts, surprise creator drops, and daily chaos. The brand’s bold, witty, and unapologetic tone continues to set it apart in the fast-food digital landscape.

A Bold Message from the Brand

Nishant Kedia, CMO of Rebel Foods, the master franchisee for Wendy’s India, shared:

“We’ve built a strong following over these five years not just because of what we serve, but how we show up. Wendy’s has always stood out for its bold voice and ability to connect with culture in real time. This campaign is our way of saying thank you, turning up the volume, and celebrating with the very people who made Wendy’s India what it is today.”
