With a career spanning over two decades, Sainath—widely known as Sai—brings a global perspective and a proven track record of creative leadership across multiple continents, including India, the USA, LATAM, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa. In his new role, Sai will lead Theblurr’s creative vision across markets, enabling brands to stand out with work rooted in insight, craft, and outcome-driven innovation.
A Legacy of Brand-Building and Global Creativity
Sai’s portfolio includes award-winning campaigns for some of the world’s top consumer brands such as Pepsi, Bacardi, Coca-Cola, Nike, Levi’s, Amazon, Microsoft, and Hewlett-Packard. He is especially known for crafting the iconic ‘Aaj kuch Toofani karte hai’ campaign for Thums Up, a campaign that resonated deeply with Indian audiences.
His creative journey includes leadership roles at JWT, McCann, and as National Creative Director at Leo Burnett India. Later, Sai expanded his vision internationally by founding Simple Creative Inc. and Studio Simple in the United States. His role as Global Creative Director for Hewlett-Packard further demonstrated his ability to develop campaigns that are globally scalable yet locally relevant.
