Talon Academy delivered an exceptional performance to claim the championship title in Arena of Valor (RoV) at the depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT 2025 Grand Final, held at BEAT Active BITEC BURI. The tournament brought together passionate gamers and esports fans from across the country, creating a vibrant and highly competitive atmosphere.
A Milestone Event for Thailand’s Esports Ecosystem
The depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT, organized by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), is part of the broader depa ESPORTS Project, which aims to foster Thailand’s esports industry and support the nation’s digital economy. According to Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, President and CEO of depa, this event is more than just a championship — it’s a platform for young talent to showcase their potential, develop critical skills, and pursue career opportunities in the esports industry.
The project attracted significant participation, with over 6,500 young gamers competing in various events, including depa ESPORTS IN SCHOOL, Daily Tournaments, Influencer Tournaments, and Regional Tournaments — far surpassing the initial target of 5,000 participants.

Dr. Nuttapon emphasized that esports is not just about gaming but a valuable platform for learning, teamwork, creativity, strategic thinking, and professional growth.
“The depa ESPORTS TOURNAMENT is not just about crowning champions. It is about empowering Thai youth, creating sustainable growth in Thailand’s esports ecosystem, and driving the country’s digital economy towards international competitiveness,” he said.

The Grand Final: RoV Championship Highlights
The tournament’s highlight was the thrilling Arena of Valor (RoV) competition, featuring 16 emerging esports teams representing eight regions across Thailand. The venue was transformed into a world-class esports arena, and the Grand Final was streamed live with commentary from top Thai shoutcasters BrightO and SunWaltz, adding to the excitement.
Throughout the matches, the teams demonstrated exceptional technical skills, strategic execution, and resilience under pressure. Talon Academy ultimately rose above their competitors to claim the championship.
