Wipro has announced the appointment of Ranjita Ghosh as its new Global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective February 1, 2025. In her new role, Ghosh will lead the company’s global marketing strategy, focusing on strengthening Wipro’s brand presence across diverse geographies and driving its growth. Reporting to Hari Shetty, Chief Strategist and Technology Officer, Ghosh will succeed Laura Langdon, who is leaving Wipro to explore new career opportunities.
Ghosh previously served as the CMO of Wipro’s Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMEA) strategic market unit, where she played a pivotal role in aligning marketing initiatives with business goals. Her contributions included enhancing brand positioning, fostering thought leadership, and building influencer partnerships. Her innovative marketing strategies and commitment to customer advocacy were instrumental in advancing the company’s success in the region.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the global technology services sector, Ghosh brings expertise in Sales, Business Development, Growth Marketing, Buyer Experience, and Ecosystem Partnerships. She has managed high-value portfolios, led cross-functional teams, and implemented impactful marketing strategies across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
Ghosh holds an MBA in Marketing & Operations, a Bachelor of Engineering in Printing Technology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Law. Her diverse background and leadership experience position her to drive Wipro’s global marketing vision effectively.
The appointment comes as Wipro aims to strengthen its global brand identity and continue its innovation-led growth trajectory.
