Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has recently entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CHARGE ZONE to significantly boost the expansion of electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure across India. This partnership is set to enhance the convenience of both intercity and intracity travel for EV users.
As part of the agreement, CHARGE ZONE will install fast-charging stations at 100 Hyundai dealerships nationwide. These state-of-the-art chargers will be available through both the ‘myHyundai’ app and the ‘CHARGE ZONE’ app, ensuring a seamless and reliable charging experience for all electric vehicle owners, regardless of the vehicle brand.
Hyundai’s initiative includes deploying an extensive network of DC 180 kW and DC 60 kW chargers at its dealerships. In addition, the company plans to establish 15 new fast-charging stations at strategic locations across major cities and highways in nine Indian states.
With this initiative, Hyundai Motor India reaffirms its commitment to advancing sustainable mobility. By continuously enhancing EV infrastructure, the company aims to make electric vehicles a more practical and preferred option for consumers throughout the country.
