Terribly Tiny Tales (TTT), one of India’s leading content storytelling companies, has made its long-form content debut with Amazon MiniTV’s Jab We Matched, produced by Anuj Gosalia and directed by Srinivas Sunderrajan. Known for its engaging and relatable short films under fifteen minutes, TTT has now entered long-form storytelling with this brand-new anthology series.
Through its riveting stories spanning four episodes, Jab We Matched explores the world of dating apps and the different goals of people who use them. The show is set in Lucknow and Kanpur and follows a group of individuals who are not always what they seem – from nerds devising codes to find dates, to a pair who decides to make their exes jealous. It depicts the new-age dating scene in a manner that is relatable and endearing, thereby striking a chord with the audience.
Jab We Matched is the perfect balance of humour, suspense, and drama brought to life by an impressive cast including Shivangi Joshi, Jasmin Bhasin, Abhishek Nigam, Revathi Pillai, Priyank Sharma, Prit Kamani, and Mayur More. Created by TTT’s Studio Head, Sharanya Rajgopal, the show promises to be a truly unique and engaging viewing experience.
Speaking about the partnership, Anuj Gosalia, the show’s producer and TTT Founder, said, “Foraying into long-form content with Jab We Matched has been exhilarating for the team at TTT. Through our films, we have always chosen to tell compelling stories of human relationships in a way that resonates with our community, and this series is no different. With an exceptional cast, the show captures the challenges of finding and holding on to love in the modern dating scene. In Amazon MiniTV, we found the perfect partners to enable these stories. We’re developing many long-form shows this year!”
Jab We Matched is produced end-to-end by TTT. While TTT is already well-known for its short films that are popular among its robust community, this show is a perfect springboard for TTT to move into long-format shows and feature films, with more partners and OTTs. The platform is thrilled to showcase their first long-form content with Amazon MiniTV and hopes to continue to produce engaging and emotional content for their audience.
