Fi Money named Poornima Kamath as Head of People and Culture

Poornima Kamath has been named head of people and culture at Bengaluru-based fintech Fi Money. Poornima has a history of holding executive positions at Microsoft and The Coca-Cola Company’s Indian bottling division.

To Fi Money’s leadership team, Kamath adds more than 20 years of experience in personnel and culture change. She will improve the three-year-old fintech company’s human resources procedures and contribute to creating a world-class culture that will draw in, nurture, and keep outstanding talent.

She held the positions of Associate Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer while employed with Coca-Cola. Prior to that, throughout her twelve years at Microsoft, Kamath was in charge of overseeing international teams. She has experience working with corporate groups in APAC, South Africa, and Europe in engineering, research, services, and support.

Commenting on her appointment Kamath said “I am delighted to join Fi as Head of People and Culture. Having worked with a number of successful global companies over the last couple of decades, I am looking forward to being part of this growing organisation as we design and implement a people agenda that drives our business forward. I look forward to making Fi a great workplace as we build a world-class team,” .

She joins at a time when the startup plans to double its headcount by the end of this year.
