Ferns N Petals named Shashwat Goswami as CMO

Ferns N Petals, an Indian gifting company, has named Shashwat Goswami to the newly formed position of Chief Marketing Officer. In his capacity, he will be in charge of driving the company’s marketing strategy, as well as creative collaborations to put FNP’s strategic vision into action. He will leverage the company’s market position to accelerate growth, innovation, and value creation for stakeholders and customers. Shashwat will supervise brand building, consumer acquisition via organic and paid channels, retention marketing, social media marketing, and public relations as part of the marketing department. The hiring comes amid the gifting behemoth’s tremendous expansion as a result of its ongoing evolution in terms of enhanced brand ethos and a recent rebranding process, both of which are part of FNP’s larger objective to deliver operational stability and business excellence to the industry.

Shashwat, who has nearly two decades of high-impact brand expertise, was the Marketing Head at Gaana, where he was in charge of the music streaming app’s growth, retention, and brand marketing. Prior to joining Gaana, he was the Marketing Head (Private Label) at Grofers, where he oversaw a diverse portfolio of the online grocery giant’s own brands. He was previously a Senior Executive with a decade of experience at Pepsico, where he was in charge of designing and executing creative storytelling as well as constructing marketing offence for the classic Pepsi Thi Pi Gaya campaign. He is a seasoned strategy and marketing professional who has spent decades working at the convergence of FMCG and technology. He has built, led, and scaled marketing activities across brands.
