Popkorn Communications named Vishal Mehra as the new CEO

Popkorn Communications, part of Value 360 Group, India’s leading PR & Comms-Tech conglomerate, has announced the appointment of Vishal Mehra as the CEO for its newly re-launched digital vertical.

Vishal has more than 16 years of experience working with Fortune 100 brands across industries for emerging technologies and digital/integrated strategy. He has created and led digital practice at top consultancies, agencies, and start-ups and has been actively involved in bringing category-creating digital products into the country.

In his last stint with 22feet Tribal Worldwide, part of DDB Mudra Group, Vishal led the agency in Delhi and was part of the team to integrate the group’s offerings in the market.

Before that, Vishal has worked with mobile marketing start-ups, an aviation marketing consultancy, as well as leading agencies like Cheil Worldwide, and Bite (now Archetype), partnering with brands across industries.

At Value 360 Communications, Vishal will consolidate the group’s tech offerings, blending them with creativity, and positioning it as one of the more exciting agencies in the industry.

A management graduate from Haas School of Business (UC Berkeley) and International Management Institute (Belgium), Vishal has a lifelong passion for technology, philately, aviation, and marketing.

Value 360 Communications has been on a hyper-growth path since its inception and has announced some key launches in the last few years. Popkorn Communication, a subsidiary of Value 360, has been re-launched with a focus to attract the right digital talent and grow it into an end-to-end digital marketing firm, with technology at its core. As part of the next stage of the Group’s growth, Popkorn will be investing in building AI-enabled tools to empower its client and people to bring efficiency to their digital functions.

In 2021, Value 360 Communications introduced an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) for long-term employees as well as new team members who display exceptional performance. The firm is one of the few players in India’s PR space to roll out this scheme. The announcement came on the heels of the company expanding to Singapore, crossing another milestone in its remarkable growth trajectory.
